Henri Menendez's
Hands-On
Master Cabinet Class

faux expo

Cabinet finishing has quickly become one of the most profitable sectors of our faux finish industry. Everyone says they paint cabinets but few really know enough about this specialized craft to provide furniture like fine finishes. Cabinetry should look and feel like furniture. If yours doesn't, then you really need the Cabinet Master. Furniture and Cabinet makers alike use catalyzed lacquer and that's a word that often scares us but it need not anymore.

Henri Menendez will de-mystify the cabinet finishing process and teach you all the tricks of the trade to accomplish fine furniture finishing on every cabinet project you sell. His aggressive approach to cabinet finishing will have you completing kitchen projects in a couple of days rather than weeks. Henri Menendez owns and operates DeHuelbes Designs in metro-Atlanta and finishes cabinetry throughout the South-east with over 400 completed cabinet projects to date.

faux expo Class will cover all aspects of the cabinet finishing field from prep and set-up, to specialty techniques and finishing. Class will focus on the products and spray techniques necessary to provide clients with a quick and extremely high quality finish. We'll also cover marketing, estimating, product knowledge, and spray equipment and techniques. Students should expect a course full of profit making cabinet finishing information. Not for the casual hobbyist.

All students will have an opportunity to spray water-borne lacquers during the course of the class. Each student will complete 6 wood samples to build their portfolio of finishes and increase their knowledge of cabinetry finishing substantially. Samples are good to have but the knowledge you will receive will be even better and put you over the top of the field in your area. Don't miss this opportunity to learn true cabinet finishing from a cabinet master. Bring an open mind and soak in a totally new way to sell, paint, and increase your profits.

faux expo Class will start by 9am on Tuesday - 9/27/2011. All paints and boards as well as some brushes will be provided to the class, however, students are encouraged to bring standard brushes to avoid sharing. All students need to be checked-in and ready for class by 8:30am. Class will adjourn by 5pm to allow for evening festivities. Class tuition for this all-day, hands-on workshop is $310 per student. Expo registration must be completed prior to confirmation of any classes.
