Learn simple but realistic techniques for woodgraining steel or fiberglass garage doors and mdf or resin moldings. Any surface that can hold paint can be made to look like something it isn't. Woodgraining does not have to be hard, but certain tricks must be understood and learned to accomplish realistic looks. The right materials for the job need to be picked for professional and long-lasting results on exterior and other surfaces. Learn all this and more from accomplished teacher and contractor - Dean Sickler. Students will receive a booklet with all the tools, colors, pigment, paints and glazes used in class as well as 6 panels of woods that you will render. Techniques will include straight grain and heart grain of mahogany, pine, oak and rosewood.
